The past few weeks I have been pondering finding faith for an upcoming lesson that I’m giving in my church. The title of my lesson is; Having Faith in Christ During Trials.
After a few years of struggling with getting pregnant I struggled with faith, and I felt like it had completely gone. Same with my hope. It was extremely hard going to church each Sunday and seeing practically our whole congregation with kids, and us without. We wanted so desperately to grow our family. Finally it got so bad that I felt I needed to reach out to my Bishop. He suggested reading a talk called Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and also reading the scriptures daily.
I can’t say it fixed things right away then, but slowly (mostly with time), it got better.
The other day I was on Instagram and one of the gals that I follow, who has also struggled with infertility, posted this quote:
We can’t always see where the road leads but God promises there’s something better up ahead we just have to trust him. Psalm 56:3
Trusting Him is what we need to do, yet it’s so easy to not. What are things you’ve done to trust in Him?
